1. What functionalities does the Beeperlink SMS service offer?
The Beeperlink SMS service allows:
- Redirecting Beeperlink messages to any mobile phone number (SMS).
- Redirecting Beeperlink messages to an additional email address.
Each Beeperlink message can be sent to your primary email address and also redirected to a chosen mobile phone number and an additional email address. This feature is perfect when you connect tags for your entire family or company to a single Beeperlink account.
Important: The phone number and additional email address assigned to a tag can be changed at any time in the settings of the selected tag.
2. Is the SMS service required to use Beeperlink?
No, the SMS service is optional. Activated stickers and keychains always send messages to the user's primary email address – this functionality is included in the price of the sticker or keychain. The SMS service is an additional option for those who want to receive instant alerts and redirect messages to additional email addresses.
3. Is the SMS service paid?
The SMS-PROMO Package is always free and starts from the date of the last activated Beeperlink tag. It remains valid for the next 365 days, offering a limit of 20 SMS messages for the entire user account. This limit applies regardless of the number of tags activated on the account.
If the limit of 20 SMS messages per year is insufficient, additional packages are available:
- SMS-100 Package (100 SMS messages per year) – 25.00 PLN/year
- SMS-300 Package (300 SMS messages per year) – 52.00 PLN/year
4. How to extend the validity of the SMS-PROMO Package?
Each newly activated Beeperlink sticker or keychain extends the validity of the SMS-PROMO Package by another 365 days and resets the SMS limit to 20.
If you are using an additional SMS-100 or SMS-300 package, activating a new sticker or keychain will switch your account to the SMS-PROMO Package only if you have used the entire SMS limit in the current package.
5. What happens when the SMS limit is reached?
When you use up the entire SMS limit, messages will still be sent to your primary and additional email addresses. To continue using SMS notifications, you can:
- Activate a new Beeperlink sticker or keychain, which will switch your account to the SMS-PROMO Package and reset the limit to 20 SMS messages,
- Purchase an additional SMS-100 or SMS-300 package.
6. How to configure the SMS service for my tags?
To configure the SMS service, follow these steps:
- Log in at https://beeperlink.com/login
- Go to the Contacts section and add the phone numbers and email addresses to which you want to redirect notifications. Contact verification is required.
- In the Tags section, set the appropriate phone number and email address (if needed) for each tag.
- Test the service by sending a test message after scanning the tag.
7. How to check if the SMS service is working correctly?
After configuring the SMS service, scan an activated and configured tag, then send a test message. Check if the notification has been received on the provided phone number and additional email address.
8. Can I use the SMS service without verifying contacts?
No, verification of the phone number and email address is required to ensure the security and accuracy of notification delivery.
9. How can I check my current SMS limit?
You can check the available SMS limit in your account settings on the Beeperlink website.
10. What happens when the SMS package expires?
If the SMS package expires, messages will still be sent to your primary email address. To continue using SMS notifications, you can:
- Reactivate the SMS-PROMO Package by activating a new sticker or keychain,
- Purchase an additional SMS-100 or SMS-300 package.
